We stayed the night at Millennials Shibuya and set off bright and early on the highway bus which cost ¥1100 each one way. After our sightseeing headed to Gotemba outlets so Tom could continue his Pokemon obsession with Pikachu plushies! But must admit this is a cutie! One of my favourite Japan days! 🗻🍎 SAVE THIS for your trip to Tokyo! We got so lucky with the day we set aside (26th April) for Mount Fuji as it was such beautiful weather and even if it was busy, it wasn’t as bad as it could have been for a weekend!😍 Absolutely loved our stay at the capsule hotel the Millennials Shibuya the night before, would have really liked to experience it in a more relaxed atmosphere but the fact they had a kitchen we could use with tea and utilities included was such a bonus! We pre-booked the highway bus for 2200¥ each one way and arrived at Kawaguchiko Station, then jumped on the train to Shimoyoshida station where you can then take a small walk up to the #arakurayamasengenpark. Get the train back then walk around to the Mount Fuji panoramic ropeway for a great set of view points at the top! We got a bus from the station to Gotemba Premium Outlets to visit yet another Pokemon center and get the exclusive plush! Truly a day I will never forget but definitely will want to visit different sites like Oishi Park next time✨
